Big Money Detailer
From Personal Passion to Family Legacy
What happens when passion meets purpose? Carlos' journey from car-loving teenager to professional detailer reveals the transformative power of following your calling.
Carlos' detailing story begins with his uncle's influence – a barber who kept his cars immaculate. This early exposure sparked a lifelong passion that eventually became a business with deep spiritual and family roots. Today, Carlos' detailing work isn't just about pristine vehicles; it's about creating a legacy and showing his autistic son that anything is possible with determination and support.
The conversation takes a fascinating turn when Carlos shares how he tackled ceramic coating a funeral home's limousine despite never having done it before. Rather than turning down the opportunity, he confidently accepted, immediately sought proper training, and delivered exceptional results. This "say yes, then learn how" approach exemplifies the entrepreneurial mindset that transforms challenges into stepping stones.
Marketing discussions reveal practical wisdom for detailers of all experience levels. While Carlos leverages social media successfully, host Davy Tyburski emphasizes the importance of multi-channel marketing tailored to your specific audience. For some clients, traditional flyers or postcards might still outperform digital methods – a reminder that understanding your market trumps following trends.
Perhaps most powerful is Carlos' raw honesty about nearly giving up after losing several family members. What kept him going? A combination of faith, responsibility to his son, and what he calls his "no quit attitude." His mantra – "I bless this vehicle with my magic hands" – perfectly encapsulates how he transforms ordinary work into extraordinary service.

Hey, big Money Detailers, welcome to the Big Money Detailer podcast. And today we are all going to be blessed by my man, carlos, who's going to share his wisdom and his knowledge, and he's got some great personal stories that not only will inspire you and motivate you, but certainly some details get it, some details about your detailing business, where you can make sure that you're earning more and you can serve more as you move forward. So, carlos, are you ready to thrive and shine, brother? Let's go, dave. All right, let's do it. Let's do it. Okay, man, let's go back way, way back, when you were a tiny tot. I always like to start like this man. How and when did you get started in knowing you have a passion for detailing?
Carlos:I was around the age of 14, 15 years old. My uncle back home is a small business owner. He's a barber and he loved to keep his cars clean and it kind of rubbed off on me and since then I like to keep my car clean. I don't like to ride in a dirty car too much. It's more of actually the passion and how it came to keep my car clean.
Carlos:So my first car my parents got me was a Chevrolet Cavalier. I think it was like um, I can't remember the year of it, but uh, I was so happy with that car I actually would wash it every weekend to make sure I don't want to keep a car, keep my car clean. And it trickled over to my next car I got before and when I graduated from high school I kept that clean as well too, and I took that to college and I will always keep my car clean. For, like college, I find a car wash to go to to keep my cars clean. And my sister would like to tease me like you like to keep your car clean, I said I don't like to ride in a dirty car and, um, I will wash hers every now and then as well to to keep up Um so that.
Davy:So basically you've been, you've been, you've had a passion for clean cars since you were, you know, high school. Let's say right, yeah, and now that's carried on, I like two or three years ago. So you love to have that passion for cleaning cars. But let's actually because, again, folks don't just learn from us at Big Money Detailer but I'm going to dive into this a second. So I want you to rewind the tape here. And this is the teaching point for all the listeners, my Big Money Detailers that follow us. Here's the teaching point. So Carlos was keeping his own car clean. So rule number one if you're mobile and you're driving around in a dirty mobile van, what is people's perception of you? Carlos, If you can't take care of yourself, how the heck are you going to take care of me? So that's a little checkbox, right?
Carlos:But here's where I really want to get to Now.
Davy:I don't know what your answer is, but I'm going to go on a limb because I want to make sure that we get a teaching point out. So it was your uncle that had a barbershop, right, yes, and you were washing cars, right? So do you want to guess what my question is going to be? How many customers did you get from the barbershop?
Carlos:I wasn't really actually more trying to get customers initially at first, but I think that kind of like if you were going to go back and do it over again.
Davy:Now that you know what I'm talking about, what?
Carlos:would you wish, I wish I would have done it that way.
Davy:That's what I'm looking for, brother Carlos. That's what I'm looking for Cause we're all about. Look, man, here's what. Here's how I look at the world. It took me a while to figure this out. By the way, think about your car. There's a rearview mirror. That thing's about six inches. Right, yeah, and that's stuff in the past. I'm looking backwards, so we're looking backwards, carlos, to the barbershop, because now I want to talk about the windshield. That's a lot bigger. So, moving forward for all of our listeners, right, here's the teaching point I want to make sure you get.
Davy:Sometimes, a great introduction or marketing opportunity is right in front of you and you miss it or, more importantly, you didn't have the mindset to be on the lookout for it. So what Carlos basically said was if he was 15 again, god, don't we all wish we could be 15 again, by the way, because I would have done a lot of things differently. But being 15, having a car wash business and uncle has, I'm sure it was a pretty good barbershop too, because there's a lot of good conversation there. It's more like your brothers that come there on the weekend and you talk about god and you talk about all that. I could just see you there at 15. But now I want you to go back and say, man, what about if, while they were getting their hair cut, if I would have been taking care of their vehicle while they were? So that's how I want you to think differently, moving forward, all my listeners for Big Money Detailer podcast what can you do right now? That's right in front of you, just like that information I gave you on. Carlos, do you have an uncle that's a barber? Now I don't have to be a barber, but who do you know that has access to a lot of happy customers that you can serve them first and then you can get them to introduce you to all those other folks coming in for a haircut. So, man, that right there alone, I talk about my 1980s calculator. Every night People have been following me like, oh, here he goes again, talking about that damn calculator. That's right. You know why I talk about this 1980s calculator, carlos, it don't lie, you're right, it don't lie. So I'm going to do some math right here, right now, and I'm'm gonna kick you in the butt, because when I coach people, I either give you a hug or I kick you in the butt. I'm gonna kick you in the butt and everyone's gonna get to listen to this conversation.
Davy:Hypothetically, your uncle had 10 customers a day, times two on the, you know, sunday after church. He probably did something afternoon. Let's say he had 15 customers each of them. Let's say half of them gave you the ability to wash their car, so that's seven. Let's say you charge 50 bucks for the car. Right, that's $350. The calculator don't lie, that's $350. You could have made almost every weekend by your uncle's barber shop. Now again, rear view mirror. I don't care. What do we do moving forward? How do you take that concept right there and just model it a little bit to maximize your business as one of the listeners here on the podcast? So thanks for sharing how you got started. Now next question why do you do what you do, man? Why do you get up and crank and grind on detailing cars, man? What's your? Why?
Carlos:Well, that became a passion of me and now, since I'm a father, it actually gives me more idea, because me and my wife decided to kind of do more of the business side of we have a son who's autistic.
Davy:OK.
Carlos:And we want to actually show him a lot. You know what he actually can have. He's actually technically he's a nonverbal, autistic kid, but he actually has a passion to swim. He competes in the Special Olympics and I always enjoy to watch him swim. So now, with the car detailing, I try to get him out there, you know, to help me out any way possible to show that he actually you can do anything possible to show that he actually you can do anything possible. As long as we got your back, we want you to be great and he's been doing pretty good so far. Anytime we get answers of saying he can't do something, he proves us wrong, because I know he's protecting. God's got him and he does. He does something amazing every day.
Davy:I love it. What a what a great story. So you know, everyone has their why. Right Now, again, people think I'm all about the money. That's not true. I talk about the five F's all the time. I talk about faith, family, financial fitness and fun. And you've hit on two or three of those already in the first part of this podcast, right, faith and family.
Davy:But I think the important thing is you're also thinking about the legacy, like how do you make this thing more of a legacy for your family moving forward? And I'm not just all about the money. As a matter of fact, if you look at my tagline, it does say showing you how to earn more so you can serve more. But here's the catchphrase with that Serve more can mean anything. Could be serve more clients, could be serve more charities like the Autism Society, could be serving your church, could be serving folks that are less fortunate than you. Or it could be saving for your grandsons you know we just had our first grandson about 10 months ago. Could be saving for your grand. Look, it doesn't matter. The point is, the more you earn, the more you can serve. And you? The point is, the more you earn, the more you can serve and you decide how you want to serve. Right, would you agree with that? You want to expand on it at all, especially with your family.
Carlos:Yeah, you know I do. I have a full time job as well too, so we do this more on a part time basis, but I want to eventually do it full time. So, yeah, I can have more family time, a little bit more fun. The faith is always there, because without God he's my engine and that's the only way I know I'm going to actually get it done. You know the right way and I guess time I look at time Time is valuable. Spend more time with my son and my wife and actually able to do a lot of stuff and still run the business yeah, absolutely that's always where I wanted to get. So that's why I'm on the grind all the time, to continue to keep so I can actually, when I get there, hey, I was like that hard work paid off and now I can still have fun with my family.
Carlos:I do like to work out and, a matter of fact, when you said fitness, I do like to work out. And, a matter of fact, when you said fitness, I got a buddy that's a fireman, so I talk to him about a lot of stuff. So I'm trying to work on, like you're saying, like with the windshield, that the time is now working with more of his clients that actually need their cars detailed and while they're working out as well too. So I collaborate with him on a lot of stuff. So I'm trying to work on that as well.
Davy:I love it. Well, look, if you'd be kind enough, man, before we started recording the podcast, my man, carlos, got a cool t-shirt. Man, can you share that with everyone who's watching us today? Sure. My shirt has my child is not rude, he's my child isn't rude, weird, rude or weird. It's called. Let me read it one more time my child isn't. Isn't it's rude or weird, it's called autism. What a great shirt, man, and what a great way to honor your son man, that's a really cool shirt.
Davy:Thank you, thank you. All right, good deal. Let's switch gears a little bit, man. Let's talk about if there's one thing in your business. Okay, and I know it's hard for you because you're good at a lot of stuff, but if I asked you what's your main superpower in your business? Like what, what do you think you're so good at, man, that you can put a cape on? And you're like that's my superpower, davey, what? How would you answer that question, carlos? What's your superpower in your business?
Carlos:of my hands. Ah I always love them.
Davy:Dude, there's no coincidence. You and I are Christian dudes, right? We know there's no coincidence. I ask this question purposely because, like with all my guests that come on like you should do, by the way, with your clients I checked out my man, carlos. I went to his Instagram page. He says this every time well, not every time, but most of the time, but most of the time. I hope I get it right, man, because I'm going off memory. It's something like this I bless this vehicle with my hands. Is that about right? Is that about what you do?
Carlos:Bless the vehicle with my magical hands. There you go.
Davy:That's what I was hoping you'd say Well, let's talk about that, talk about your hands and being your superpower man, a lot of stuff.
Carlos:Sometimes, dave, when I'm out there detailing a car or a vehicle, I guess I go into another world or something that just like I zone out a lot of stuff. Um, I can remember a funeral home asked me to do a um, a ceramic coating on, uh, on the limo right and it's just the limo limo or is this the hearse limo? It was the the limo, not the hearst limo.
Davy:Okay, Because I was going to say, man, if you did the Hearst limo, we're going to have to schedule a 2.0. I'm going to talk about that on the next podcast, but go ahead, tell us about the limo, brother.
Carlos:They asked me to do a ceramic coating and I had to take it all in. I was like, wow, okay, you want me to do a ceramic coating. And to bring that story full circle, covid hit. So what I did was it's a company out of San Diego, right, look? I took in some online courses and they sent me all these products and everything and I got certified of how to do ceramic coating. I got I'm working on PPF, um and to just actually do a lot of stuff with um, with detailing, totally, and I took the time to do that. So I, when they asked me about the ceramic coating, I said you know what? I think I can do it. So I think when it that the day, the weather worked with me so well, those two days I did it in my driveway. So I did everything, the steps for the ceramic coating.
Carlos:So the second day, when I actually started to do the ceramic coating and stuff, you know, people would come by. It's like what are you doing? A terminus guy stopped me several times what are you doing? I was like, well, this, I'm working on this limo they want me to um do a ceramic coating on. He said you know how to do that. I was like yeah, absolutely I do. I said here's my card. I'm just, I want to go ahead and finish this. I don't want to take too much time.
Carlos:So, um, I did one side of it and actually had did it, and he came back by said so you, you put it on. I said you can take a look at this side, right here I'm working my way to the other side. He's like wow, you got it looking like a showroom vehicle. I said I appreciate that I'm not finished yet, but what I'm going to do is going to do a video and I'm probably going to put it on my Instagram or anything like that. If you're willing to take it out, take a look at it. Here's my Instagram account, you can take a look at it.
Carlos:And a couple of days later he sent me a message after I had finished. He's like wow, that's a phenomenal job what you've done. I may get you to get my vehicle. I said we got to get on the same schedule and everything like that. We kind of hit and missed on our schedule, but I did finally wind up getting him on his car and I didn't do it. I didn't do a video on it. I wish I had, but I did do it. I ceramic coated my his vehicle as well too.
Carlos:So, I think that was one of the more, one of the more shiny moments of doing that limo and everything.
Davy:Yeah, well, it goes back to your, you know, back back to your magic hands, right, yeah, my hands and then using all five senses that we've been blessed with.
Davy:So you listen, you watch the guy come up, had a conversation, but what's interesting about that story is and I think it's a great way to think about motivation and inspiration yeah, you never did a ceramic coating before the limo. No, what you said was yes, in a very confident way. Yes, absolutely, we'll take care of that. And then what did you do? Immediately Go get the right training and education to do it right Exactly. You know how many folks well, no need to say that out loud as far as the number, but let's just say there's more than one that, again, I meet during my keynote presentations and if they had to look back in their rear view mirror, they would have done things differently. And here's the key teaching point for all of us Learn from the, not just the mentor, learn from the right mentor that's been there, done that, still doing it today. So God bless you for getting the training, because then that spun off to another and another and another.
Davy:Here's the thing about ceramic coatings right, real quick, and I'm sure you're already doing it. But for some of the newbies, quick way to sell ceramic coatings is my 1980s calculator, davey, what the heck are you talking about Easy Ready? I'll do the math for you. So Carlos is my client, right? Let's say I'm Dylan at Affluent Auto Spa. Carlos, now again, I'm not a lotions and potions guy. Those of you who've been following me know I ain't about lotions, potions and tools. I'm all about showing you how to earn more so you can serve more. So if I get this a little bit jacked up, play along. So the ceramic coating is $1,500, right?
Carlos:That's about it.
Davy:So let's say $1,500. Now, if I was talking to Carlos as a potential client, it'd go something like this Carlos, based on my assessment and diagnosis, here's what I would prescribe for that particular limo. Now we can do something less expensive, but the quality is not going to be there. I would suggest, because you're like the doctor of detailing in this case, I would prescribe a five-year ceramic coating. That's guaranteed. And really what? What it comes out to pause? Here's the teaching point. Really what that comes out to be, carlos, it's like it's less than a buck a day. It's like three hundred dollars a year. Yep, five years times three hundred fifteen hundred.
Davy:Now again, in dylan's business we deal with, you know, higher end luxury and exotics. Sometimes we don't have to walk the client through that math. It's less than a buck a day. However, we want to serve as many people as we can. So in some cases and again not judging, just throwing it out there, but if it's something that is not as exotic or as luxurious as one of the cars that Dylan works on, he may have to break down that five-year ceramic coating to let them know. Look, for less than a buck a day. You can have this whole thing covered under warranty for five years. Anything will come back out, all that stuff that you guys do, which is the magical stuff. But sometimes you've got to break it down like a sixth grader. For me, I love to teach and I love to learn as a sixth grader. If we can all go back and be sixth graders again, we would be a lot smarter, wouldn't you agree, carlos?
Carlos:That's right yeah.
Davy:Yeah, all right, good deal.
Carlos:Anything else on that story about the ceramic coating the limo and how you spun that off to another potential another client for a ceramic coating. Anything else you want to cover on that one Also, I've. I've done my buddy the trainer. I did his. That was one of my first ones as well too. He, he, he. He trusted me to do it and I told him I do, I can do it. I just told him. I told him initially, I said this is going to be 24 hours. I need your vehicle for 24 hours and then I'll call you when you, when it's ready, and explain everything as to listen once. This is on everything. You know it can't get wet and all this as well. Make sure you keep it out of being rained on anything like that and explain to them. I say you know I'm putting this type of protection on it this many years. I'm going to check back with you, probably next few months, everything. Make sure you need more enhancement or need to fix it or anything else. We're going to stay up on that. Perfect, he understood.
Davy:Yeah, so basically laying out a key teaching point again just echoing back what Carlos said is making sure we're setting up those expectations. What's going to happen next? Yeah, I'm going to do this. This is how long I need the vehicle. This is how I'm going to follow up. This is what happens every year. We've got to get it rechecked. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Laying that all out so everybody understands. All right, how about this one man? What about in terms of your marketing? If you had to pick one or two things that work, really work, really, really well for you, what would be those one or two things, carlos?
Carlos:Social media has been pretty decent for me but I've been meaning to actually do like more ads and I know you know some companies will call you and ask you about trying to do ads or they charge you so much and I was like I think I can do a lot of this stuff on my own and that me and my wife work on a lot of stuff to try to do stuff. I'm working on Probably more of doing a YouTube channel, more videos, but the social media has been helping. But I need to get back to doing, I guess, the old school way doing flyers, putting them up in the mailbox and stuff.
Carlos:I have cards. Absolutely, word of mouth still works.
Davy:Yeah, absolutely. It's got to be done the right way. It's the same thing. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't know if we were recording or not, but when my coaching members come to my house for my two-day intensive, at the house we talk about 100 different ways to market and there's not one way to market. Some people respond to a postcard, some people respond to a Facebook ad, some people respond to an old-fashioned flyer. So what does that mean? It means there's not one way to market what? Based on your industry, obviously, in detailing, but based on your market and your clientele. For instance, not judging Again.
Davy:I say this a lot, carlos, because I've had one or two people that kind of give me some grief on when I talk this way. But I'm talking marketing. I look, I love everyone. I'm an elder at my church, so I don't need to hear that BS. So anyone that says that to me, I just let it. I'm like a duck bro. I let that just fly right off me. I don't give a crap about that. But here's the teaching point around that marketing If your clientele is 60, 70 year old people, how much business you getting off Instagram from them?
Davy:Not a lot Okay that's the answer I was looking for. However, if you're 60 or 70 years old and you get something in the mail that's physical, like this, that's big I'm going to say big-ass font, I can actually read it. That's your target audience. So you have to speak to them, you have to market to them based on what they want, right? Um, and I think that I believe that's where a lot of people get jacked up, because we're unfortunately in this world, we're attracted to a lot of stuff, and there's bright, shiny objects everywhere, and I'll leave it at that. Oh well, I heard that this detailer had someone text them and they were promised 15 ceramic coatings a month. Call them three months later and ask them how it went.
Davy:Okay, all right that's that that's why I say man, 90 of that stuff is smoke and mirrors and unfortunately, a lot of people have been burned. Now I'm not saying everyone. One out of 10 is probably good, but now you got to go through nine to find a good one that's going to help you with online advertising and all the other sexy stuff that they talk about, but I know this as a fact. I've been in this game for decades. By the way, I coach 15 other industries, so what I do is I take what works well, like in dentistry or healthcare, and I model it for Dylan's detailing business, and then what I do after we test it, is I share it with all my private coaching members.
Davy:I know one thing still works well is this thing right here, which is something physical that goes out in the mail. Now it doesn't have to be just the mail. You could stop by somewhere and drop off some physical things, but physical things still work in this world, and I know digital media and all that. Believe me, I know that game just as much as I know this game, but you got to do it a bunch of different ways. So any other commentary on other ways to market or any ideas based on what I just said.
Carlos:No, it's always nothing wrong with old school, as I call it old school, old school, old fashioned, still works.
Davy:Hey, pushups still work and those were invented I don't know how many years ago, man, you talk about your friend. That was in fitness. I'm sure pushups are still part of that routine somewhere and that's old school, right? Yeah, All right, Good deal. Hey, what about this one man? What about? Was there a time and I'm sure you had a lot of prayer, if there ever was, and I'm sure there has been but a time you were thinking about giving up and, more importantly, what did you do to get through it?
Carlos:It was actually really. It was a period. Well, I almost well, I can say well, okay, I lost my mom early, and then my dad, and then it's like a lot of stuff, like my son, when I would take John to go see my dad it was every Sunday and then when it all stopped, all of a sudden I was like, do I want to continue to do this detailing stuff, or a lot of stuff. I guess I was going through, uh, just a lot, you know, maybe it just um, I wouldn't call it a depression, but a lot of stuff. You know, just when you lose a parent, it's it can kind of take a toll on you.
Carlos:So, not not willing to urge to do a lot of stuff, but, um, I think I, I got, you know god told me like no, don't give up on anything like this. He said, because I ain't giving up on you, right? So let's go ahead and let's get back at it. I'm going to get you back out there. I said, you know, I know it's been like the weather's been getting you. You feel like a lot of stuff, let's get back outside, let's get it. And I think when I it was just one day, I got back out there and I got back in the zone again. I was like, yeah, I don't want to quit this, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't, I can't quit because I'll be quitting on John. I don't want to do that.
Davy:That's right. Yes, setting a good example Right, that's perfect.
Carlos:Yeah.
Davy:Man. That's, that's a good story right there. You know, I mentioned it before we started recording. Dad went to heaven a few years ago. Um, yeah, it's a challenging time. But here's the thing about detailing.
Davy:Now again, whether it's detailing or whatever it might be, people ask me, like, when I travel, when I do my keynotes, you know, I'll go to lunch by myself and I'll be sitting there and the waiter or waitress will come over and they'll strike up a conversation, blah, blah, and be like what are you in town for? Well, I'm here for a keynote, blah, blah, blah, whatever. And they're like what are you in town for? Well, I'm here for a keynote, blah, blah, blah, whatever. But then I ask him this question, carlos. I say something like this man. I say I'll use Carlos again as an example. I say Carlos, man, you are a fantastic waiter, man, I appreciate you serving me, but I have a question for you. And then I pause. They get all nervous, man. They're like freaking out. It's like what's this dude going going to ask me like I'm like carlos, what would you be doing right now, right now that you love to do, and you weren't even getting paid for it? Let that in the crock pot for a minute, because here's, here's what happened once. I'll tell the story.
Davy:I again, I don't believe there's coincidences. I figured maybe I was maybe in orlando I asked that question. I don't believe there's coincidences. I figured maybe I was maybe in Orlando I asked that question. I don't remember all the details about it, but I do remember that she was probably mid 20, single mom, right? I can't remember all the details of her, but here was the. That was the question, right, dude, she got teary eyed and like that never happened to me before. Now, this is lunchtime, bro, so I'm not talking about like dinner, having a beer or something. This is like lunchtime. I'm having a Coca-Cola, if you know what I mean, and I'll teary-eyed man. And she said I'd be teaching kids how to dance and of course I let that go get my check on the way out. Let's just say I left a pretty significant tip with a note.
Davy:And here's the point of the story. I hope and I prayed for her through my drive-thru prayers that maybe that question inspired her to go do something she loves to do that she wasn't getting paid for. But here's the catch. Like you, man, and Dylan and many other detailers that I meet. You have a passion, like you would detail cars almost what you did for free because you love it so much.
Davy:But here's the teaching point If you could do something you love to do and also you get paid what you're worth, is there anything better than that, brother? There's nothing better than that. So I hope that she went out with my little contribution, let's say, and I hope she maybe went somewhere to serve kids from a dance perspective, and I hope she maybe went somewhere to serve kids from a dance perspective, and I hope today that was many years ago I hope today she has her own dance studio and she's serving kids. She's doing what she loves teaching them how to dance and I hope she's getting paid very, very, very well. I hope she's earning more so she can serve more. If you know what I mean.
Davy:Yeah yeah, so that's the passion side of it. Man, passion is very high in this industry, okay, which I think is fantastic. All right, one or two more questions then we'll wrap it up. One thing that if you had to go back and say, man, a big teaching point for me, either in your life or in your business, a big teaching point for you where you're like man, that was a tough time. But, boy, here's what I learned from that.
Carlos:I guess the tough time I always look back at when you lose loved ones. So it's like when my mom passed away suddenly. Then it was like my grandmother. It was like my aunt, my mom, my grandmother, and then it was like kept happening in threes. So then it was like my other grandmother, my uncle and my dad, and I was like, whoa? I'm like, why is this happening? I was like, but you know what Stuff happens. I have no control over it.
Carlos:Let me use this motivation here to actually do what I really want to do. I know you want to get, you get to the point. You say, well, I have this passion to do something about it. Now, how can I do it? And I always will get to the point. I. I read a little scripture from from, from the bible, and it's something that will always stick out to me like I've instilled this in you. I know you can do it if you follow me. I'm going to show you the right path. Don't't take man's path. I want you to take my path. Beautiful, and I think I've had that moment.
Carlos:It's been about almost like two years ago and I just had to like sit still and I was like, yeah, I got to go this way. I can't keep trying to do it my way. It's not working. I got to follow it God's way. Good and so far, so good. Um, everything's been working out pretty good. Um, I think a lot of my what's with the car detailing has been like the word of mouth of a lot of stuff, and then people see my social media stuff. They they like it. Then they may may contact me. So my wife came up with something I always ask her for, like for help, or something she came up with the the changing of the business card and the logo, and I told her I was like well, is that gonna work? I was like you know what? I think it will work. I'm gonna let you do that because that you have that, that glitch to do that stuff. Yeah, I'm gonna do this way. So um.
Carlos:I just, I always look at my picture of my parents on my wall and that's my inspiration every day. And then I always can always John smile. So my inspiration with my parents, john and my wife. So I have now the no quit attitude. I said, no, I'm going to get there, I'm going to have a success story. I'm just being patient about it and continue to work hard on it.
Davy:Well, fantastic, carlos. Well, I think we're going to end it on that. Man, what a great story. And again, you have a true family business. Your grandparents, your mom and dad and all your uncles, they're part of your business right now. I know you know this, this man, but, boy, it's just feels so good to say it out loud that you truly have a family business. That's heavenly and also here on earth. So, god bless you, man, continue to do great things. And before we wrap it up, just one more quickie, if folks want to find you on Instagram if you can let them know the best way to do that, man, that would be great.
Carlos:My, my instagram account is um, real hello, real underscore, los 1976. That's why I put a lot of my, um, detailing stuff, um on. I also have my facebook page. If um, I put it on my facebook. Carlos, uh, keith, it's on there as well, perfect well with that said carlos, man, it's been a blessing having you.
Davy:I love talking to guys like you that really have the inspiration and the passion for detailing and and also being paid appropriately for the great work you're doing in this world. And again, the big one I want to close on is this one right here, my man says I bless this vehicle with my magic hands. I bless this vehicle with my magic hands, and that is my man, carlos. So, carlos, we'll catch you soon. Until next time, big Money Detailers. Again, I'm Davey Tyburski, the founder of BigMoneyDetailercom and also known as America's Chief Profit Officer, and I will see you on the other side. Bye-bye.
